East Bergholt Bells' Constable Anniversary Peal

Alongside my Constable Ambisonic project, which recorded the locations of 20 John Constable paintings for the #Constable250 celebrations, I captured the East Bergholt Bells performing a special commemorative 250-Peel at St Mary's unique bell cage in celebration of the artist's birth anniversary. An edited version of the 8.5 minute performance rings out once an hour, from the floor of the gallery, bringing the sounds from outside to inside, and mirrors the position of the Church bells that unusually reside in a specially created building in the Churchyard.
